1. Gastroscopy for Examining the Abnormality of the Upper Gastrointestinal Tract
Endoscopy for upper gastrointestinal tract from esophagus to duodenum using a flexible endoscope which contains camera & a light at the end. The images taken from the end of endoscopy is displayed on monitor to provide diagnosis, treatment and biopsy for pathological examination.
2. Colonoscopy for Examining the Abnormality of the Lower Gastrointestinal Tract
Colonoscopy for lower gastrointestinal tract with a flexible endoscope. It can provide to diagnose diseases of anus, rectum and colon as well as determine the source of large intestine bleeding accurately. Moreover a biopsy can also be performed to provide diagnosis and treatment so that an operation may not be necessary.
